‘Ger, My Head In My Own Hands’

(GER, MIJN HOOFD IN EIGEN HAND)

‘Ger, My Head In My Own Hands’ is the sequel to the documentary ‘My Head In Your Hands’ in which Ger, a former nursing teacher is followed as a critical Alzheimers patient.

Ger’s challenges are to still be useful and contribute to society, to deal with his environment, to gain control of financial and personal matters, (such as sexuality) and other issues around his disease. What to settle at the notary, with family, caregivers, with yourself? These questions play an essential role in this film.
